Attached is a picture of our group at Eppies great race.  The photograph  is not that great but the shirts were awesome!.  I love the quality of the picture on the shirts.  It is just like the original photo I gave you.  I washed them before the race and they still looked perfect.  I love that they are not like transfers.  The image is soft like it was built right into the fabric.

I cannot believe you can put them together for such a great price.  By the way, can I get 2 more medium mens shirts?  I want to send them to my daughter and her roommate in Australia .  You will definitely be getting more requests from us in the future.

Our T-Shirt Designs: 

Our passion is decorating apparel in unique and creative ways.  Being from Samoa, we have been influenced by Samoan tapa designs on siapo, boards, and tatau (tattoos), plus the exotic and natural beauty of the islands we grew up on.  The result is a unique line of apparel that will make you look and feel like you are back home on the islands, or ready to visit for the first time. 

What does Matai mean anyway? 

We chose the name Matai because it means Chief... as in 'It's good to be the Chief!'.  You'll feel like a high-talking Chief when you wear our apparel without having to pay a high price.  Enjoy!  Fa Soifua,  Mareko & Carrie.

DID YOU KNOW...

     Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is half Samoan?  His mother's family lives near Mareko's family on Upolu, Western Samoa... He visited Western Samoa with his Mom in 2004 and was bestowed the honor of being a Chief.  Check it out... http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,687063,00.html

    Only Samoans have Fire Dancers!  Other Polynesian cultures have studied the art of Siva Afi (fire dancing) but it started in Samoa!
